Interface languages

The Ufzack interface is available in German, French, Italian and English. The platform's buttons, menus and emails then appear in the language each person has chosen. The «Interface in fr, it, en» module takes care of this; it is switched on from the start.

Which language someone sees

  1. If a person has chosen a language in their account under «Family and account» → «Language», that one applies.
  2. Otherwise the language chosen on the sign-in page or the browser's language applies.
  3. If none of these fits, the school's language applies.

This applies to parents and team alike.

The school's language

The school's language is German, French, Italian or English. It applies to everyone who has not chosen another one. If you switch the module off, everyone sees the interface in the school's language, and the language choice on the sign-in page disappears. The school's language cannot be changed in the administration; please contact support for this.

Emails

The platform's emails, such as notifications and reminders, reach each person in their own language, even if the school uses another language.

What is not translated

The interface language only covers the platform's fixed texts. What the school writes, such as events, announcements and info pages, stays in the language you wrote it in. If parents should read this content in their language too, switch on Automatic translation. Parents can then also choose other languages such as Portuguese or Arabic; for them the interface stays in the school's language.
