Choosing the language
Ufzack is available in German, French, Italian and English.
Set the language
- Open your family page and, under «Settings», the «Language» card.
- Choose the language you want under «Your language».
- Tap «Save».
The choice belongs to your account and applies on all devices where you are signed in. Before signing in, you choose the language at the bottom of the sign-in page. Without a choice, the interface follows your browser's language, otherwise the school's language.
The school's content
The language affects the interface: buttons, menus and notices. Events, announcements and info pages stay in the language the school writes them in.
If your school uses automatic translation, more languages are available, for example Portuguese, Albanian, Turkish or Arabic. Events, announcements, info pages, requests and emails then appear in your language, automatically translated. If you choose a language other than the four above, the interface stays in the school's language; the content is translated.
To the original
At the top of a translated page you see «Automatically translated» with the link «Show original». This lets you read the text as the school wrote it; «Show translation» takes you back.
Automatic translations can be inaccurate. Check important things in the original or ask the school. If a translation fails, you see the original text.
