Having texts read aloud

Ufzack can read longer texts aloud to you. Your device's speech output does this; you do not need to install anything.

How it works

1. Open an event, an announcement, an info page or a request.
2. Tap «Read aloud» above the text.
3. To finish, tap «Stop». If you leave the page, reading also stops.

If you tap «Read aloud» for another text, the first one stops.

No button visible?

• The button only appears for longer texts, not for a few lines.
• Your device or browser has no speech output. Try a current browser.

Nothing to hear?

Check the volume and, on iPhone, whether silent mode is on. Voice and speed depend on your device's settings; you can adjust them there.

In which language?

Texts are read in the language of the text. If Ufzack shows you an automatically translated text, you hear the translation. How good the pronunciation sounds depends on the voices available on your device.
