The app on your home screen
You do not download Ufzack from an app store. You put the platform on your home screen directly from the browser. After that it opens like an app, with its own icon and without an address bar.
iPhone and iPad
- Open your school's address in Safari.
- Tap the share symbol (square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose «Add to Home Screen» and confirm with «Add».
- From now on, open the platform with the new icon.
Android
- Open your school's address in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Choose «Add to Home screen» or «Install app», depending on the version, and confirm.
In the Samsung browser, Android may block the shortcut. Use Chrome instead. A bookmark works too.
The notice in the app
As long as you do not open the platform from the home screen, it shows the notice «For quicker access: add to home screen.» at the top. The cross closes it; in this browser it will not appear again.
Sign in once more
On iPhone, the app on the home screen has its own storage. Sign in once in the app. If the link in the email opens the browser instead of the app, enter the six-digit code in the app, see Signing in without a password.
If your school uses push notifications: on iPhone they only work in the app on the home screen, see Push notifications.
