Registering your family yourself

Some schools invite new families with a link or a QR code. With it you enter your family yourself, and the school then activates your account. This only works if the school has switched this feature on and given you a link.

How to register

1. Open the link or scan the QR code. The page «Registration with …» appears with the school's name.
2. Under «Parents», fill in «Family name», «Your name» and «Your email address». You can add a second parent with name and email address right away.
3. Under «Children», enter «First name» and «Class» for each child. Only give the «Last name» if it differs from the family name.
4. If you like, write a «Message to the school (optional)».
5. Tap «Send registration».

Each parent needs their own email address. They will use it to sign in later.

What happens next

The school office checks your details. This can take a few days. As soon as your account is activated, each parent entered receives an email with the sign-in link. For what follows, read Signing in without a password.

If your family is already registered, for example because of an older sibling, the school merges the details with the existing family.

Data protection

Only the school office sees the details. If the registration is not approved, the details are deleted after 30 days.

Link no longer valid

If it says «This registration link is no longer valid», the link has expired or been ended. Please contact the school directly; it will send you a new link.
